How many people are familiar with Yowza treadmills? This treadmill is the Daytona model and it may have skipped you by at first. It is a very fine treadmill indeed. But it has a high price tag and competes with a lot of other well established brands at this price. So the questions are, how good is it, and is it worth the price?
Well it has a commercial grade motor running at 3.0 CHP which is what should be standard if not even better at this price point. But what it does have that a lot of other models don’t have is a heavy flywheel. Flywheels are designed to take the stress of the motor and to make sure it lasts longer.
Long Term Gains Not Losses!
The running deck is spacious at 20″ x 60″. It also inclines to 12% and the top speed is 11 mph. This is Yowza’s top of the line treadmill and it is also quite quiet. It also has a high maximum user weight threshold of 350 pounds. There are 15 workout programs, not a lot, but sufficient. Not what’s unique about this treadmill is that it comes with a set of scales that wireless connect all your data to the console on the treadmill.
Technology Included
It measures your weight and your body mass index. Yowza have certainly connected this treadmill with the ideal goal of losing weight and lowering overall body mass index (bmi). From an engineering stand point the machine also features crowned rollers with sealed bearings that provide stability and allow the belt to track smoothly around it in cycles.
There is a good shock absorption system which focuses on the softer side. You also have the usual gadgets, an ipod/mp3 port, a fan and a cup holder, one touch speed controls and descent sounding speakers.
Should You Buy The Yowza Fitness Daytona?
This is one to watch and initial reviews have been pleasing, but look out for this if it’s on special offer and you will be in for a better deal. With a further cut in price this would be more appealing as it has stiff competition from proven brand names.
